The R2 Vento Aeroweave by Fi'zi:k is a high-performance racing shoe that combines reduced weight and increased ventilation with excellent support and protection. Our designers and engineers have developed a new material called Aeroweave for the upper, which is an advanced woven fabric that combines lightweight nylon fibers with filaments of thermoplastic polymer. This creates a net-like pattern that is highly breathable and resistant.The upper of the Vento Powerstrap R2 Aeroweave is so ventilated that you can see the rider's socks through it. The Aeroweave material is flexible and molds to the foot, providing a comfortable fit, while also delivering the support and containment needed for racing.The innovative Powerstrap closure system wraps around the foot, offering secure containment with just two straps. The instep and midfoot can be adjusted independently for a customized fit and compression. The straps have been redesigned for lighter weight and increased strength.The R2 outsole of the Vento Powerstrap R2 Aeroweave is made of engineered carbon fiber, which saves weight and increases stiffness. It is the stiffest outsole in the Fi'zi:k range, with a stiffness index of 10. The outsole also features a wide vent inlet and deep internal channelling for cooling airflow and improved temperature management.
