The synthesis wheels from crankbrothers take a unique approach to wheel systems, prioritizing a compliant front wheel and a stiff rear wheel to achieve the best ride experience. The compliant front wheel enhances handling and control in turns, while the stiff rear wheel improves stability and tracking at high speeds. This balance is achieved through variations in spoke tension, spoke weight, spoke count, rim width, and rim weight. The alloy range includes models for Enduro, XC/Trail, and E-bikes, catering to a wide range of riders. The Enduro and XCT models offer two hub options - a crankbrothers hub and an i9 1/1 hub, providing 4 degrees of engagement. Additionally, the Enduro and XCT rims are also available separately for custom wheel building. The front wheel of this particular model has an inner rim width of 26.5mm, a spoke count of 28, and features Sapim D-light spokes. With a weight of 841g, it offers a lightweight and high-performing option for riders.
