The Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy E-MTB 29 Boost Rear Shimano is a part of the crankbrothers tuned wheel system. This system includes an aluminium range of wheels that takes a unique approach to wheel systems. The focus is on having a compliant front wheel and a stiff rear wheel to achieve the best ride characteristics for each rider.The compliant front wheel improves handling and control in turns, while the stiff rear wheel enhances stability and tracking at higher speeds. These different characteristics are achieved through variations in spoke tension, weight, count, rim width, and rim weight.The alloy range includes Enduro, XC/Trail, and E-bike models, aiming to accommodate as many riders as possible. For enduro and XCT models, there are two hub options available - a crankbrothers hub and an i9 1/1 hub. These hubs provide 4 degrees of engagement, giving riders more control.In addition, the Enduro and XCT models are also available as rim-only options, allowing for custom wheel building.
